We have some exciting news to share with you about the upcoming Annual PD16 Juneteenth Celebration! New Date for the Celebration

Due to a scheduling conflict with North Stafford High School, the date for our celebration has changed. We know this might be a bit inconvenient, but we appreciate your understanding and support as we make this adjustment.

• Previous Date: June 13, 2026

• New Date: June 6, 2026

• Location, time, programming, and activities: All remain the same

Please mark your calendars for June 6! This change does not affect the spirit or the fun of the event. We are committed to making this celebration powerful, joyful, and meaningful for everyone.

• Career Fair hosted by Kalahari Resorts & Conventions (seeking 1,200 new employees)

• Mr. & Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Awards ($1,500 each)

• Vendor Expo (100+ local vendors)

• Reenactments that will empower and inform

• Fun activities for kids and families at the Kid Zone

• Delicious food vendors offering a variety of tasty options
